This campsite is located in Basket Swamp National Park, a 2820-hectare woodland park 14km north-east of Tenterfield that's accessible by 2WD vehicle and welcomes pets. The park is suited to self-reliant bushwalkers and offers access to Timbarra Lookout, horse riding trails, Basket Swamp Falls, and the Woollool Woolloolni Aboriginal Place. For camping facilities including tables and toilets, Boonoo State Forest's picnic and camping area is located directly north of the park.
