John has been photographing the Australian landscape for over fifteen years, from the red dust of the Centre to the rainforests of Far North Queensland. His work focuses on capturing the way light transforms familiar places into something extraordinary. He shoots on location, often spending days waiting for the right conditions. His images have appeared across Australian tourism campaigns and editorial publications. When not behind the camera, he is usually planning his next road trip or arguing about the best time of day to shoot Uluru (sunset, obviously).
