About Rere Falls and Rere Rockslide

A twin attraction on the Wharekopae River about 50 km northwest of Gisborne. Rere Falls is a 5-metre-high, 20-metre-wide curtain waterfall, while the nearby Rere Rockslide is a 60-metre-long smooth rock slope forming a natural waterslide into a deep swimming hole. Both are free and popular with families during summer.
