About Eastwoodhill Arboretum

The National Arboretum of New Zealand, home to over 25,000 species of exotic and native trees spread across 135 hectares near Ngatapa. Founded by William Douglas Cook in the 1910s, it holds the largest collection of Northern Hemisphere tree species in the Southern Hemisphere, with 25 km of trails through the grounds.
